Day 2 : Masjid Tanah – Muar, Johor (68km) (EXTREMELY HOT!!!)
Woke up at 6:30am, tried to cover the mileage that I didn’t finish yesterday, I set my destination to Batu Pahat for today’s ride, total distance is 123km. But….CRAP!!!…My plan was killed by the heat of the sun and the NEVER ENDING HILL CLIMBED. HELL!!!
I wonder why these engineers have no interest to design a flat road, why all these up and down roller coaster way….Baladihel!!! And the sun probably; instead of taking “his usual vitamin pills”, he got it wrong and “swallowed some Viagra” by mistake. Gosh…. I think I was riding in 36°C. By 7:00am; I already felt the heat upon me. I gulped 1.5L of drinking water in just 25km ride. With such heat wave, I have to split my journey to 2 parts. Hence I stopped at Muar, only 68km ride. (Mission failed again!!!)
The long and hilly road of AMJ Highway, Melaka. I thought after this will be a flat road to ride. but at the end of this, there are still many of “THIS”.
Even the paddy field all burnt, and the trees along the road are dying in heat. And I was such a fool to ride in such a weather. (I wonder why do I wanna ride in such weather………CRAP!!!)
Muar is such a safe town, even police station is closed. I realised this only when I tried to get direction from police station and found that the main door is chained.

Landmark of Muar.
Muar is one of the big town in Johor, Malaysia. It is one of the most popular tourist attraction for the locals to be visited and explore for its food; coffee and historical building from the pre-war.
You could easily find these historical buildings in any corner of the town.
These are the famous street foods that attracted the locals to pack the town during holiday. And there are many more but I was too full to try. These were the best I could do. If you want to know more, you need to come and explore for yourself.
The best hotel throughout the whole journey, and my little pony again allowed to sleep with me. Hehehehe…
