The plan was to ride and explore Kahang, Johor, turned out to be a ride for food. It was more like a food trip than cycling. Nevertheless, it was a fun and happy trip with all these good people, though we exercised our mouth more than legs.
6:00am, all 7 bicycles were loaded to a pick-up truck, headed South along Lekas Highway to Seremban. We then entered to Bahau, all the way in rural road until Kahang, Kluang district, Johore, South of Malaysia. 300km away from Kuala Lumpur, 25km longer when took the rural road.
The road is narrow and winding all the way to Kahang.
Food and beautiful sceneries along the way.
Labis Railway Station. This station started operate since 1909, its 110 years old. Older than anyone of us in the picture. The building at the right still the original wooden wall with zinc roof, upgraded new building at the left.
Kahang Town, a quiet town. We call it old folks home, cause most of the young people left home to work in city.

We were suppose to ride off latest by 7:00am, but was delayed. It was 8:00am when we eventually drift off into the cold breeze. Why? The breakfast was the culprit.
The ride was breathtaking (Ahem!… As in pedalled until lost our breath, not the scenery). The road was undulated and monotonous, only trees at both sides and the grey tarmac road, occasionally yellow road sign, that was all the colours we saw. Followed route 50 headed south for about 10km, then turned left to route 1397, a 10km ride, and turn right onto route 1399. A safe road for cyclist.

Wall painting always an attraction to tourist though I don’t know why, usually at the back lane. I guess it is a trend in Malaysia.

Perhaps the undulated 60km ride yesterday yet to thrill our heart, this morning, instead of loading bikes to truck and back to KL, we decided to take another 50km ride to Kluang.

Visited Kluang famous local coffee factory, few coffee trees planted at the entrance.

Had fun at the station.
It was fun having to rode with these people.
