Day 5 : Pekan Nanas – Singapore ( 40.1km)
Another exciting day, a crossed country ride and the last destination of the journey. Continued the pleasure terrain from yesterday, I reached Johor about 9:30am. Went to a coffee shop for a break and was told that coffee was sold out. WHAT?!?! I don’t understand… In Kuala Lumpur, coffee never sold out from any stall, 24 hours. I went to 4 shops and all told me the same. Insane!

7:30am, and the sun was scorching.

Woohoo!!!. Johor Bahru! only few kilometer to Sultan Iskandar Complex Custom.

My heart rate increased the moment I saw this sign – Woodlands. Oh boy, I am almost there.

Entrance of motor lane at Sultan Iskandar Check point. Johor.
Passport check counter.
Crossed the bridge AGAIN to enter to Singapore – Picture taken from Johor-Singapore Causeway.

Singapore Customs Examination point.

Met a group of Singaporean cyclists at the check point. They just finished their ride at Johor and now back to Singapore. It’s always nice to meet new friends along the way.

WHOA!!! FINALLY!!! SINGAPORE!!! WHOA!!!

Ahem… Bicycle is not allowed on Singapore expressway. I was stopped by a police and was asked to PUSH my bike to minor road which is about 200 – 300m away. WHAT?!?!?! CRAP!!! HELL!!!

Riding in Singapore was stressful. I mean..Ya, the government is doing a nice job providing cycling lane throughout the island, and it’s sheltered all over. But traffic lights are just few hundred meter apart. I was on my saddle for 4 hours just to finished 26km, wasted most of my time waiting at the traffic light. (Now I understand why Singaporean cyclist likes to ride to Johor.)

YES!!! The final destination! The end of my KL – Singapore ride. Oh gosh…Thanks to this little faithful pony that never fail me throughout the journey. YES!

Total distance travelled for single way.
Time to reward myself. Muahahahaha!!!
