A day without bicycle, today will explore Vang Vieng as a tourist.

The morning of Vang Vieng surrounded with cold air. Beautiful mountain sighted the moment we walked out from guesthouse. Vang Vieng is a town that foreigners are more than locals. A town surrounded by beautiful green mountains and fresh air. beautiful river settlements and interesting limestone caves to explore. Backpackers were lured by the cheap alcohol, low expenses, beautiful scenes and fun-loving outdoor activities. Hence you won’t see crowd in the morning, unlike other towns, the locals woke up early to start their lives.

Breakfast was easier to get and more diversify. The picture showed was Laos’ BBQ dried pork.

We rented a “Tuk Tuk” for a day trip.
Tham Nam Cafe was our first visit. Experienced a walked over a wooden wire hanging bridge across the river, it is like a park; historical temple; then walked across a big rice field to water tubing, zip line, and quiet beautiful blue water pond, The Blue lagoon.

The girls all went for Zipline challenge, I just enjoyed my coffee at the foot hill.

A very steep rock path to the cave.

Finally, a hiked of 650m to the summit of mountain for stunning view and sunset.

Almost to the top, there has no access road, have to climb over the sharp rocks to the look out point at the other side.
